Overview
We offer two dental plan options through Delta Dental:
- The Delta Dental DHMO is a lower-cost dental plan without orthodontia coverage.
- The Delta Dental PPO has higher benefits and includes coverage for orthodontia.
Both plans cover two (2) cleanings per year and routine X-rays at 100%.

Delta Dental PPO
The Delta Dental PPO provides coverage for dentists that are both in-network and out-of-network, though you may end up paying more out of pocket if you visit a dentist outside of the network.
The following table shows the coverage levels:
Delta Dental PPO | |
---|---|
Annual deductible | $50 individual/$150 family |
Individual annual maximum | $1,500 |
Preventive and diagnostic | 100% coverage (not subject to deductible) |
Basic restorative care | 80% after deductible |
Major restorative care | 50% after deductible |
Orthodontia | 50% |
Orthodontia lifetime max | $1,500 |
Delta Dental DHMO
The Delta Dental DHMO offers in-network services only, meaning you will not receive coverage unless the dentist participates in Delta Dental’s network. The Delta Dental DHMO covers preventive cleanings at no cost twice per year.
Other services are based on a Patient Charge Schedule. For more information, visit Delta Dental.
Things to consider before enrolling
If you want to enroll in the Delta Dental DHMO plan, please be sure to check the network providers to ensure that your dentist participates.
